Twitter app for OS X is finally updated and gets a new look

The last major update (version 3.1) of the application Twitter for OS X it had been out in October 2014, over a year ago; to version 3.0, in December 2013! Today, after a long wait, the company finally released version 4.0 with good news.

Sorry, app not found.

Again we have video playback within the app itself, support for GIFs, direct messages for groups of up to 50 people, mute button, widget for the Notification Center, dark theme, renewed design and possibility to add a few words to a retweet.

Unfortunately it was not yet this time that we saw the arrival of the synchronization of tweets among the official Twitter apps (iOS and OS X). But it is still good news for those who, like me, still use the blessed app.
