Twelve South Launches Travel Cable Hub for MacBooks Air / Pro
THE Twelve south is a manufacturer of accessories and peripherals for Macs, iPhones and iPads known for the versatility of their products, ranging from BookBook cases and AirPod cases to popular connection hubs such as the StayGo new USB-C dock for MacBooks Air / Pro.
Through a USB-C port, StayGo connects to any currently sold Apple notebook and expands the connectivity of the machine to various devices such as monitors and external drives while charging your MacBook.
Specifically, the new Twelve South hub has five different inputs and nine total ports: two USB-C, one for transferring power to the hub (100W) and one for transferring to the MacBook Air / Pro (85W); an HDMI port with 4K resolution support; three USB-A 3.0 inputs, one with quick recharge support; one Gigabit Ethernet port; it's two slots for SD and microSD cards.
StayGo comes with a 1 meter cable and even a travel cab that can be stored inside the hub for you to get around (as its name suggests) without the worry of having to carry an extra cable on your lap. It is noteworthy that this space is only for cable storage it must be completely removed and plugged into the StayGo port.
Already available at Twelve South's online store for $ 100 (plus shipping costs to Brazil as well as possible taxes), StayGo may even be a more expensive option than most hubs selling on Amazon, for example; however, in terms of accounting, specifications, door options and material, it has certainly been considered one of the best alternatives.
