Another day under the sun, another wave of rumors about the "IPhone 8". In fact, this corroborates many of the photos we've seen leaking in recent days and some other information.

According to the Chinese newspaper Economic Daily News (via DigiTimes), a Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company source said that we will actually see, in the next generation of iPhones, a Touch ID integrated screen. This finding makes a lot of sense if we analyze the last images we saw of the supposed new model and fortunately it contradicts some other schemes which showed the reader on the back of the devices.
The TSMC source “confirmation” came yesterday (5/25) after the event TSMC 2017 NA Technology Symposium, which took place in Taipei where several design changes and new applications for the upcoming iPhones would have been announced.
One of these changes would have been the lack of the frame of the Incio button (Home) on the front of the device. According to the report, Apple would have found a way to use an "optical fingerprint sensor to allow authentication directly on the screen".
Furthermore, it has been suggested that the new devices will come with a kind of “invisible, infrared, image sensor” to improve the camera's functionality and also allow interactions with augmented reality.
Another small factor cited by EDN was that the ratio of the new screen would be 18.5: 9, instead of 16: 9 as we see in current devices.

Ignoring Geskin's comment that suggests we’re having an event on September 17th, but forgot to check the calendar (hint: drop in Sunday!), which the supposed statement briefly states that employees will have intense work days between September 17 and November 4. This would indicate that the next iPhones could reach the market in that period. Even so, the keynote for presenting the device would have everything to happen before that date (perhaps in the beginning of September, as Apple has been doing in recent years).
In the email, there is a notice that the dates may change "since expectations regarding the volume of support may change". So, as always, we can only wait. As my family used to say: "There is less to be done." 😆
