In October, it’s not just the chestnuts that go out… the laptops too. That is the conclusion we reached when looking at the sales rankings of Portuguese store chains that agreed to collaborate with TeK and provide the list of the most sold electronics products every fortnight.
In the last two weeks of October, computers are once again the most sold product by two of the retailers, in an analysis in which, despite the invitations sent to other brands as well, it continues to rely only on data from Chip7, Staples and Worten.
Chip 7’s numbers give the leadership of ranking to a model from Asus with a 14 inch screen, Intel Core i3 processor at 2.53 GHz and 4MB of memory. The disk is 320 GB and the operating system provided Windows 7 Home Premium. The computer costs 649 euros.
Staples’ number 1 returns to being the HP notebook, which has been in the lead of the top since the beginning of the month. The G62-A40SP has the same Intel Core i3-330M processor integrated in the “competitor” described above, as well as the same disk space and memory capacity, but in this case we opted for a 15.6 inch screen, for a model that is sold at 599 euros.
At Worten, the first place on the table is previously occupied by a multifunction printer, which maintains the title of best seller in the first fifteen days of the month. HP inkjet equipment costs 59 euros and can be used as a scanner, printer or photocopier.
The registered preferences also include equipment such as external disks, processors, LED TVs or photo and video cameras, in a list where the domain of computers (portable or desktop) is notorious, as can be seen below.
