Clockify Time Tracker is an extension for Chrome that lets you record time spent on everything you do on your computer. With free download from the Chrome Web Store, the tool offers a timer that records the time of completion of different tasks. This way, users can organize and register work activities, studies and their access to social networks. When feeding the system, the extensive panel will show the time spent with each activity and the total time of use.

To use Clockify Time Tracker you need a quick login with a Google account. In addition to the extension, the service offers a web version with more details about the actions registered by users. The tool also adds buttons to start the timer on the Trello, Asana, JIRA, Basecamp, Gitlab, Github, Todoist, Gmail, Calendar, and Google Docs services.

Step 1. Go to the extensive Clockify Time Tracker download page and click the "Use in Chrome" button;

Step 2. To download and install the tool, click "Add Extension";

Step 3. You will be redirected to the service login page. To proceed, click on the "Continue with Google" option;

Step 4. In the upper right corner of the extension bar, click the Clockify Time Tracker icon to open the activity pane;

Step 5. Define the activity you wish to register and click the "Start" button;

Step 6. The activity date set for the current day. However, you can add records for past dates. At the bottom of the screen, check the "Billable" option if activity is paid (professional activities). To proceed, click on "Ok";

Step 7. To finish recording the activity, click the extension icon again and use the red button to finish the time count. Keep adding tasks to get a full report, as we'll see later in the tutorial;

Step 8. Once you have your tasks recorded, open the extension menu again to see all the activities listed and the total time spent. To see more information in the online version of the service, click on the tool name at the top of the screen;

Step 9. The web version of the service has a more complete interface and presents the log of all activities recorded with the extension.
