TomTom demonstrates Car Kit for iPhone at IFA 2009 in Germany

IFA 2009, in addition to home appliances and consumer electronics products, has more surprises in store for us. It was in Berlin that TomTom demonstrated today its iPhone Car Kit, which is awaiting the release of the FCC and is expected to hit the market in October.

The set, which includes integrated GPS, Bluetooth, microphone and internal speaker, awaited with some anxiety by owners of iPhones / iPods touch whose countries already have the maps available on the App Store. Brazil (still) is out, but we are hoping it will be for a short time.

Speaking of integrated components, check out the details of the TomTom iPhone Car Kit speaker. It may take a while to get our hands on the product (I hope some reader will buy it and send us a review first), but the company is known for the quality of the finish of everything it produces.

In another photo, you can better see the Mini-USB and mini jack, responsible for connecting the Car Kit to the car radio.
