TMN announced the launch of its first private label smartphone. The bluebelt TMN is supported in Windows Mobile version 6.1 and includes the software navigation system, in addition to the touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, video camera and MP3 player and 3.5G connectivity up to 7.2 Mbps. The equipment also supports Wifi and bluetooth.
The partnership with NDrive allows the operator’s customers with this equipment to benefit from the navigation software without the need to periodically renew the license and have features, such as real cartography of the cities of Lisbon and Porto and an application for managing traffic information.
The bluebelt can now be purchased at the store online of TMN for 179 euros. In the traditional channels it will be sold at 199 euros, soon. The equipment is subject to a 24-month loyalty plan and a package that includes 100 MB of traffic, with a monthly fee of 11.22 euros. The offer will also be available through TMN’s Office Box package.
TMN AppStore opens doors
The operator also announced that it will now provide access to the TMN AppStore on its website, an initiative launched in partnership with Microsoft where applications for bluebelt and other Windows Mobile smartphones will be available, developed by the community dedicated to the development of this type of service. product.
Whoever wants to put applications for sale on the platform can do so with the guarantee that they will receive 50 percent of the amount paid in the download.
It should be noted that TMN’s announcement comes a day after Vodafone launched a competition to stimulate the development of mobile applications and reveal that the results received will be marketed in an AppStore that the company plans to launch soon.
