How to bookmark a web page on iPhone

The main mobile browsers have an equivalent to the computer’s ‘Ctrl F’ command. The function is useful for quickly finding a specific word or phrase on pages with a lot of text or in PDF files. However, unlike the computer, which has a universal shortcut for all browsers and systems, on the cell phone, the option is found in different locations, depending on the app and the OS.

Step 1. In Safari, go to the page where you want to search and tap on the address bar. Now, type the word or phrase you want to search for on the page and tap «Search», just below «On This Page».

Step 2. Use the arrows located in the lower left corner of the screen to switch between the results found on the page. To edit the search term, just tap on the text field at the bottom of the screen. When finished, tap «OK» to close the search.

Step 1. In Chrome, go to the page where you want to search and tap on the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen. Now, tap «Find on page  ».

Step 2. Finally, just type in the term you want to find and use the arrows on the right to switch between the results. When finished, tap on the «x» in the upper right corner of the screen.

Edge on Windows 10 Mobile

Step 1. In Microsoft Edge, go to the page you want to search and tap on the menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Now, tap «Find on page».

Step 2. Type the term you want to search for and press Enter. Use the arrows located in the lower right corner of the screen to switch between results. To exit search mode on the page, simply press the back button.
