Fortunately, Apple offers, through the Continuity, a simple way to sync your torpedoes (does anyone still talk like that?) between iPhone and your other devices, such as iPads or Macs. What's more, you can send and receive text messages directly from these other devices all you need to make a short trip to your smartphone's Settings.
Below we show the path of the stones:
- First, make sure the Messaging app is signed in with the same Apple ID on all your devices. On iPad, just go to Message Settings and sign in with your Apple account. On Mac, simply open the Messaging app, open your preferences from the menu bar, and on the iMessage tab, sign in with your Apple account. In either case, an alert that a new device has connected to iMessage will appear on devices already connected to that account.
- That done, go back to iPhone and open Settings Messages Message Forwarding.
- A list of all devices connected to your Apple ID appears; Select all those that you want to send and receive text messages.
Ready! From now on, the Messaging app on all selected devices will also receive and send text messages provided, of course, that the iPhone in question is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or a 3G / 4G network.
It is always worth remembering that in Apple's messenger, SMS is symbolized with little green balloons, while the messages exchanged by iMessage itself on Ma's servers are differentiated with the little blue balloon.
