Tip: end your desktop clutter by combining Finder windows

Many users working on OS X at some point have already realized that they have many windows Finder open at the same time something that ends up messing up the work, causing a certain confusion.

Even taking into account that the system was created within the concept (and practice) of using several windows, this can often end up hindering or making difficult the use of OS X. to which the Finder tabs enter. By merging all the windows, you make the system a little more organized.

To facilitate the use of several Finder windows, there is the concept of tabs that can be run encouraged by the use in different browsers, such as Safari. When you have a lot of windows open in the Finder, go to the menu Combine All Windows window. In this way, all your open windows will be unified in one, with each old window occupying its own flap, instantly reducing clutter. Magic!

Combining windows in the Finder

important to note that at the bottom of the menu Window Finder and elsewhere on OS X, you can view a list of all that are being used along with some information (such as windows that have a diamond next to them are minimized windows, those with a check mark are those that are running as the main window of OS X and the ones that have no symbol are the ones in the Finder that are open but there is still another application in focus).

The “Combine All Windows” feature, when used correctly, prevents clutter with huge amounts of windows and there is also the possibility of interacting with Finder windows through shortcuts such asTab to show the next tab, Tab to show the previous one, T to open a new one, among others.

This tabbed concept replaces a lot of Finder windows. #FikDik, if you don't like mess.
