Tim Cook reveals that Apple has received more than 1,000 apps for Watch

In an internal email distributed today to employees, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that developers have already submitted it for approval more than 1,000 apps for the Apple Watch and that the pace is accelerating.

Less than a week ago, Apple began to openly accept apps for Watch, so the number is really very significant. As we reported, several app updates with clock support are already popping up on the App Store.

In his email, Cook also said that Apple employees will have, for 90 days, 50% discount on the purchase of any Watch Sport or Watch, and $ 550 discount on the purchase of the Watch Edition.

This Friday, April 10, the Apple Watch will already be on display in the more than 400 Apple Retail Stores existing in the first batch of countries that will receive it: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom and United States.
