Tim Cook joins Duke University's board of directors

This week, Tim Cook he was named one of eight new members of the Duke University board of directors, where he earned his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business in 1988.

Along with Lisa Borders (president of the Coca-Cola Foundation), Patricia Morton (founder of PRM Advisors), Adam Silver (NBA commissioner), Jeff Ubben (CEO of ValueAct Capital) and three observing members (Jack Boyd, Anna Knight and Ben Shellhorn), Cook started his new role on July 1 and, over the next 6 years, helping the university determine its educational mission and fiscal policies.

In 2013, the Apple CEO visited the Fuqua Business School and talked a little about rules, focus, collaboration, leadership, career and intuition, it is worth checking out the videos.
