Are you planning to buy a charger for your Apple Watch? No? And if I tell you that the LIFT make your Watch levitate while charging – as well as being a powerbank?
The LIFT has a base made of aluminum and ceramic that connects to electricity. At the top, it has magnets, which are responsible for making the Watch levitate when it is on the floating charger.
The creative company, whose name is very suggestive (Levitation Works, something like “Levitation Works”), explained how this could be done.
How do we do it? Our own induction system was inspired by Tesla’s original ideas to transfer electricity through ether. We took this radical concept and adapted it to be possible to transfer energy while magically levitating in space without the need for wires.
As you can see in the very “Appleistic” video, LIFT was very inspired by Apple products and also by Porsche Design. The available colors, for now, are black or white.
The charging unit can also be used as powerbankand can provide Apple Watch with two extra charges or an emergency battery for your iDevices. Speaking of which, the base also serves as a wireless charger for your iPhone or iPad. In fact, the “Pro” version of LIFT (image below) is larger, has a space for wireless charging and another for charging your devices vertically.
Peculiarly, the company also made available a lamp that levitates to be sold next to the charger – or in its place.
On Kickstarter, the project has a target of US $ 44 thousand and has already surpassed US $ 200 thousand in fundraising, with more than 950 supporters – and there is still more than a month to go before the deadline is established! If you want to contribute to the project, LIFT can be purchased from US $ 160 (plus US $ 35 for delivery in Brazil, with delivery deadline for October).
