The new member of the Huawei P40 smartphone family has arrived in Portugal. In line with the brand's new high-end models, the P40 lite E keeps the focus on photography, with a three-rear configuration assisted by artificial intelligence, but for a more affordable price.
The Huawei P40 lite E has a 48 MP main camera with a wide aperture of f / 1.8. The configuration of photographic sensors also has an 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens that supports a 120 degree field of view and a 2 MP camera for bokeh effects.
The camera configuration of the smartphone stands out in low light scenarios and the improved night mode supports stabilization for photographs with an exposure of up to six seconds. When the user is taking photographs with backlight, the main camera turns on HDR Mode which combines three frames taken in quick success.
The AI-assisted scene recognition of the Huawei P40 lite E allows the rear cameras to recognize more than 500 scenes and apply personalized improvements in real time.
J below the 6.39-inch Punch FullView screen is an 8MP front sensor just 4.5 mm wide with support for Huawei's AI algorithms. The front camera also supports Face Unlock 2.0 to unlock the smartphone through facial recognition.
Inside the Huawei P40 lite E is a Kirin 710F processor and a 4,000 mAh battery. The smartphone has the operating system EMUI9.1 and, although it does not have access to Google services, it has news from the Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem.
The Punch FullView screen of the smartphone supports an HD + resolution of 1560×720 and has a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. The P40 lite also features a triple card slot with two SIM card slots and one for expanding MicroSD storage. On the device, the fingerprint reader is located on the back
The new P40 lite E, available in colors Aurora Blue and Black, arrives at national stores with a price of 229.99 euros and, to mark the launch, Huawei launched a special campaign. Until May 17, anyone who buys a Huawei P40 Pro receives the P40 lite E at no additional cost.
