The Nexus S: the new smartphone from Google?

In the last few days there has been a series of rumors that claim that Google would be working on a new cell phone of the Nexus series, this time in partnership with Samsung, a manufacturer that has been standing out with the use of the Android platform and has been successful with the launch of the Galaxy S and the first Galaxy Tab tablet.

Although the Mountain View giant does not confirm the information, alleged images of the device recently leaked to the Engaget blog and revealed what could be the first device with Android 2.3 – also known as Gingerbread – classified as the “successor” of the Nexus One, previously manufactured in partnership with HTC.
