CandyCons is the ideal package for you that doesn't open flat icons without many shadows, but is looking for fun elements. The Pineapple Cone Pack is my current favorite. That's because the app remodels the system cones and makes them more minimalistic. It's a good choice for anyone who wants to change Material Design-based Android icons, but doesn't want to lose simplicity and not include too many visual effects. The only counter to it, as shown in the first left image, is that the phone and phonebook have the same icon.

Anyone who likes a uniform look will surely approve of SYRMA. All icons, without exception, have a square look. The package abuses warmer colors and the flat look by adding an inner shadow to each cone. The end result closely resembles Xiaomi's MIUI system.
