This Monday, the telescope became a reality for teachers and students until the 9th grade, but it turns out to be quite different from the model adopted in the past century. In addition to being available on television, the #EstudoEmCasa initiative is also integrated into YouTube, an online platform and an app, helping teachers, students and their parents to adapt to the new teaching model.
On the #EstudoEmCasa website, you can follow live the classes that are being broadcast on the RTP Memria channel, on a platform that organizes content according to the schooling years of each student. To help parents, students and teachers to be more organized, the platform provides the schedules of each session.
But, in addition to the platform, RTP also launched the application #EstudoEmCasa, where the thematic educational contents of the telescope are also available. The free app is accessible for Android and iOS.
In the beginning of April, the Minister of Education, Tiago Brando Rodrigues, confirmed the plan to launch a telescope, initially just being mentioned that the contents would be made available at RTP Memria. More recently, last week, a new resource from the #EstudoEmCasa initiative was introduced, which reaches YouTube through five new channels.
