Survey: Apple satisfies customers as a brand, but Samsung satisfies more on devices

We have already covered here several results of the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), a survey that evaluates the satisfaction of American consumers with smartphones.

In 2015, the Apple tied with Samsung at the top of the list with 80 out of 100 points. This year the match continued to be fierce, but the South Korean team remained where it was (80), while Apple won another spot, guaranteeing the first place.

According to ACSI, Apple was the only major brand that saw growth in customer satisfaction, which may be due to the increased display that came in 2014 with the iPhones 6 and 6 Plus. However, Apple cannot celebrate much because the South Korean is not kidding and managed to have three of her models in the Top 5 from the list, even reaching the first position.

How did you perceive 9to5Mac, it is interesting to note that the first four places in this list of models are occupied by the so-called “phablets”. Apparently, the giants have already conquered the taste of the staff, but I confess that I am anxious to know if the iPhone SE will appear on this list next year.

The factors cited by users were the ease of typing and making calls, as well as demonstrating their predilection for designs, software features and an easy to navigate menu. Oh, and needless to say, the worst scores were in drums, right? No matter the device, this is always a complaint that comes up. Although every year it seems to improve, every year new features appear that drain the life of the devices.

The information present at ACSI 2016 was obtained from email interviews with 12,710 customers in the United States, from 5 to 31 March.
