chrome-new-logo Google today released a version beta of Chrome’s navigation control feature that allows parents and educational institutions to create supervised accounts that can be controlled by a primary account.

“Like many of you, we also think it’s important to keep family members safe from sites that may be inappropriate. To help those who need some guidance on web browsing, we are starting a beta channel for a new feature called supervised users, ”published Pam Greene, Software Engineer at Google.

When creating a supervised user (instructions here), the entire access history can be tracked at chrome.com/manage, making it possible to determine the sites you want to allow or block and manage permissions for all previously blocked sites.
