Here on AndroidPIT, there is no doubt about it, we are passionate about the concept of the Ouya game console. An Android-powered game console with TV-accessible games and apps seems like a winning idea to us, and after raising nearly $ 9 million in four weeks on Kickstarter, the idea was successful. With the Kickstarter campaign ending, console fans will be delighted to hear that it is already available for order at a respectable price of $ 119.
Ouya needed "just" $ 950,000 to get the project off the ground, and 9 times that was one of the most successful projects in Kickstarter history. The question now is the distribution part of the device, so anyone interested in the console can pre-order and wait for the new toy for the month of April 2013. Okay, the time we will have to wait It's a management, but it certainly is worth waiting to have this device decorating the living room.
What can we expect from Ouya? To begin with, some very popular game developers like Robotoki, Namco Bandia, Madfinger, Square Enix and others are aboard the Ouya ship. OnLive games will be available for the console as well as the Android ICS video game operating system with Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi and 8GB of internal storage. It also has open code and can be freely rooted, hacked and modified to whatever you wish.
