The successor to iPhone XR which will be launched this year should have its line composed of six different colors, like the current one, only two of which will probably be replaced. At least that’s what the Japanese blog says Macotakara.
According to their “reliable sources”, the colors green and lavender (soft shade of lilac) will replace coral (orange) and blue, keeping the current white, black, yellow and red – this part of the (PRODUCT) RED campaign.
Current colors of the iPhone XR.The website also says that the silicone cases of the successors of the XS / XS Max iPhones will be white, black, mint green, soft yellow, (PRODUCT) RED and a lilac similar to the current leather one.
New iPhone XR commercial
Apple also ran last night, and shortly afterwards took down (but later rehabilitated the link, unlisted), a new iPhone XR commercial titled “Awake Until Late”, focused on your battery life.
The iPhone XR has the longest battery life on any iPhone that has ever existed. So it doesn’t matter if you’re doing streaming video, watching live sports or playing games, you’ll get tired before your iPhone XR.
Since Apple itself recognizes this in relation to the iPhone XR, let’s hope that from now on it will only be an improvement over what it offers. We deserve it.
The commercial’s music is “Stay Awake”, by Julie Andrews.

Mark Gurman, from Bloomberg, today published on Twitter what appear to be pieces of glass from the new iPhone XR, already in the colors released by Macotakara.
And here’s what appear to be your next-generation iPhone XR colors (lavender purple and green instead of blue and coral) as @idanbo reported earlier this week: https://t.co/KQQ6JKmZg9 pic.twitter.com/7k3WZC2ZUi
