THE Netflix not really kidding in the release of the third season of his blockbuster Stranger Things, which will debut next day 4. In addition to a range of promotional actions on all types of media, the streaming even made an appearance on the last day of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3, the world's largest gaming fair) to announce the franchise's next steps in the gaming world, and fortunately one of them involves iOS.
I explain: Netflix is developing, in partnership with the Finlands Next Games stadium, a franchise-based RPG that will bring the “Inverted World” our reality. With clear inspiration in Pokmon GO, the title allows players to assume identities within the series universe and explore the world (with integration with Google Maps) in search of creatures, adventures and collaborations with other players.
There is no more information about the game yet, but we already know that it will be released on iOS and Android sometime in 2020.
Additionally, we will have the launch of Stranger Things 3: The Game, a new edition of the Stranger Things game released in 2017. The title will have the same 16-bit style as its predecessor, and will continue to follow the series' characters in adventures on an exploration of the universe created by the Duffer Brothers.
The game, developed by BonusXP, will hit consoles (Switch, PS4 and Xbox One) on July 4th, along with the new season of the series. Excited?
