WhatsApp does not download stickers and has an error for some users of the Beta version of the Android application this Thursday (20). Version 2.20.52 of the messenger test program does not complete the download of the stickers, but does not affect the sending.

Twitter users registered their complaints throughout the day, and the profile of the specialized site WABetaInfo confirmed the bug. WhatsApp stickers do not appear on mobile phones, but stickers can be viewed normally through WhatsApp Web.

The bug that affects WhatsApp stickers is present only in the beta version of number 2.20.52 of the messenger. The sticker tray shows only a few images, and does not load all the stickers. If the user of the affected update sends a sticker, the message "send again" is displayed in front of the drawing in low quality.
Tapping on the option to download stickers doesn't do anything on WhatsApp. However, it is possible to view the stickers sent in a conversation through WhatsApp Web without problems. In addition, the error message is displayed only for the Beta user, so that the sent stickers appear to everyone in the conversation using the stable version of the application.
