Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s film, "Steve Jobs", was chosen as the main title of the 53 New York Film Festival.
The Universal Studios feature film, based on the biography written by Walter Isaacson, will be presented to festival participants on October 3, before its official American theatrical debut that occurs a few days later, on October 9.
Directed by Danny Boyle and featuring Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs and Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, the film was considered by festival director Kent Jones to be “dramatically focused, yet beautifully expandable; extremely sharp; crazy fun ”.
