Nintendo Direct Mini introduced several games that will be released later this year

Since the beginning of that year, Nintendo has been silent about the launches and news that the company would present for 2020. With the cancellation of E3 – the largest digital entertainment conference in the world, which would take place in June – the apprehension of the media and players by news from the Nintendo got bigger. Fortunately, the company today released a Nintendo Direct Mini, revealing its main news for the coming months.

It is still expected that the company will soon have a bigger presentation, focused on large unreleased releases for 2020. However, for the time being we could check out the presentation of almost half an hour some games that will soon be available on the Nintendo Switch.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition

Scheduled for May 29, the classic JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles wins a definitive version for the Nintendo Switch. The game is more beautiful than ever and its gameplay has been improved to make the experience simpler and more intuitive. In addition, the new version has an episode of unlawful eplogo, Time Connected, and an incredible edition with a 250-page artbook!

Animal Crossing New Horizons Easter Event

A new seasonal event of Animal Crossing: New Horizons be available between days April 1 and 12: the celebration of Easter previously announced as “Rabbit Day”. An update to make this event available in the game is now available for free download on Nintendo Switch.

Games available today

Several games are available from today on Nintendo eShop: Good Job, Shinsekai: Into the Depths, Panzer Dragoon: Remake and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The latter completes the Jedi Knight trilogy with the hero of the expanded universe, Kyle Katarn. In addition, an update of the Ring Fit Adventure It is also arriving today for free, adding the “Rhythm Game” mode, as well as the already announced expansion Doctor Doom for Marvel’sUltimate Alliance 3. A demo of Bravely Default II It is also available today.

Upcoming releases

During the presentation we were also able to take a look at the content that players will have access to in the next expansion Pokemon Sword & Shield. The two parts of the expansion Isle of Armor and Crown of Thundra, will be launched at the end of June and at the beginning of the second half, respectively.

In addition, the 2K Games announced that XCOM 2 Collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection and BioShock: The Collection are coming to Switch. All titles are considered just some of the best games of the past decade and we can't be happier to see them on Nintendo Switch!

We also found that the first character in the new Smash Ultimate Fighter’s Pass in Arms and be released in June.
