Spotify Web Player lets you enable a playback controls popup that overrides all other programs on your computer.
The feature is available on the Google Chrome player version, and lets you see the album art playing and control the music even while the user is performing other tasks, and can pause, skip, and rewind tracks.
You can increase or decrease the size of the banner as you like, as well as move it freely around the screen.
Closing the streaming tab in the browser will also close the popup immediately.
Here's how to enable the Spotify controls popup.
It is noteworthy that, for now, the feature is not available in other browsers, nor in the Spotify PC program.
