Special Event: Apple Introduces 7th Generation iPad with 10.2 ″ Screen

The rumors were real, and they materialized faster than we expected: Apple just presented its new input iPadseventh generation with 10.2 inch screen. We are still talking, of course, about a Retina LCD panel (about 3.5 million pixels), but now even brighter and with a better viewing angle.

The new iPad features an A10 Fusion chip, which Apple says is twice as fast as most popular notebooks in the United States. It also has Smart Connector for users to connect accessories such as Smart Keyboard and other keyboards.

Of course, the new iPad takes advantage of all the new features brought by the iPadOS 13, such as the new home screen with quick access to widgets, the additional multitasking features with multiple windows in Slide over, external drive support, full Safari, and all the other details we've covered in articles like this.

The new iPad, which replaces the old 9.7-inch model, has a housing made of 100% recycled aluminum, like other recent Apple products. It brings support, like the rest of the line, to Apple Pencil (first generation, in this case).

The same price as the previous generation: $ 330 in the US (32GB Wi-Fi model), or $ 299 for students and teachers. The Wi-Fi + Cellular version starts at $ 460.

It is already in pre-sale and will arrive at stores on September 30th.
