After the official Android 5.0 Lollipop distribution announcement (for now only for the Nexus), the source code of the operating system comes to Android Open Source Project. This is the starting point for developers of custom ROMs to start making builds based on the new version of the OS, and not just with Material Design.

With an update of the size of Lollipop, it will take some time before the features that Google always integrates into its operating system begin to appear and does not advertise, letting independent developers or Nexus users discover the surprises.
