Soon, you will be able to change the direction of any emoji via iPhone!

Who never wanted to create that phrase with emojis but ended up giving up on account of that blessed image that is turned to the left instead of to the right (or vice versa)? Wouldn't it be great if you could rotate an emoji so that it is in the direction of your preference?

For this could indeed become a reality in the not too distant future. At least according to the Unicode Consortium, responsible for coordinating the development and promotion of the Unicode standard.

As reported by the Emojipedia, the organization has proposed new rules which allow an emoji to be reversible. That is, emojis of cars, trains, airplanes, pistols and everything else (which are currently facing a certain side) could according to the choice of Apple, Google and others responsible for creating and developing their own operating systems positioned to the reverse side without any problem.

The guidelines are still nothing but a draft. If all goes well, they could be completed in time for the next major update to Unicode, which will include more than 100 new emojis opening the door for companies like Apple to implement everything on their systems starting in the second half of 2018.

I am sure that something like this would win the WWDC stage and be one of the great news of iOS 12! 😝
