One of the great strengths of the WhatsApp Messenger the fact that it is multiplatform, that is, basically run on any smartphone by even some very old ones.
Well, at some point some need to be cut and that time is coming for the 3GS iPhones it's the iOS 6 as a whole.
From the turn of 2016 to 2017, WhatsApp stopped working on them and also on Android 2.1, Android 2.2 and Windows Phone 7. The BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Nokia Symbian S60 were also in the lead , but have been postponed to June 30, 2017.
For those who have an iPhone 3GS, there is nothing to do; WhatsApp will stop working soon. For owners of iPhones 4, 4s and 5 who are still for some reason on iOS 6, the way to be updated (4 goes to iOS 7.1.2, 4s to 9.3.5 and 5 supports the current versions of iOS) if they want to continue using the Facebook messenger.
Considering the magnitude of WhatsApp, when support for it is turned off on all these platforms it will certainly affect millions and millions of devices that are still in use.
