One of the new features of iOS 7.1 was the improved fingerprint recognition of Touch ID. But did the shot backfire?

Some readers of MacMagazine complained about the resource after performing the update and a topic in the Apple discussion forum that covers the subject is beyond busy. The main complaint is not one of small faults in recognition; for some, Touch ID simply stopped fully recognizing registered fingerprints.
If you are experiencing this problem, try to erase all fingerprints registered on the device (in Settings »Touch ID & Code) in order to re-register – this Apple support article explains exactly how to proceed. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to restore your device – don’t forget to back up everything beforehand!
Didn’t it solve? Then the way is to contact Apple support, either by making an appointment at the Genius Bar at the Apple Store – VillageMall (recently opened in Rio de Janeiro) or by the website, or waiting for an official positioning of the company – as the problem is software, most likely it will be fixed in future updates.
