The news Smart Battery Cases, created for the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones, were launched by Apple in mid-January. Back in the United States, the new line of accessories became available as soon as it was launched; here in Brazil, however, this type of product needs to be screened by the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel).

This happened earlier in the week and, at the time, we commented that everything now depended only on Apple. Today, just three days after approval, Smart Battery Cases are available for purchase.
Regardless of the model chosen, the value is the same: R $ 1,079.10 (in cash) or R $ 1,199.00 (in installments up to 12x).

As we said, the new Smart Battery Cases are compatible with standard Qi chargers, so you can recharge your iPhone and case at the same time in a wireless charger in a good way. The smart battery status is displayed on your iPhone’s Locked Screen and in the Notification Center, so you know exactly how much charge is left in the accessory.
In addition, it has a Lightning port on the bottom where you can use traditional chargers, fast recharging (USB ‑ PD), headphones with Lightning connector and even a Lightning adapter for Digital AV.
It’s worth noting that the iPhone XS case works on the X model – not perfectly, but it works. This is because the camera slot is not aligned (since there is a small difference in the structure of the cameras of the devices); in addition, as the design of the bottom of the devices is different (the perforation of the speakers due to a new antenna that exists in the XS), the case is not visually perfect in the X. In addition, an alert may appear in the iOS warning that the Smart Battery Case is not compatible with the iPhone X, but just ignore it and the accessory will work. ?
