Slate: a super concept of Apple tablet, with photos and videos

We talked and published articles about many concepts /mockups of iTablets of life here at , but I think that never something as complete as the Slate project, discovered by the reader Denes Junior. His website, along with several images and several videos, went on air exactly 10 days ago, so the thing was fresh.

Slate, in English, it means "blackboard" among some other synonyms. The creator of the project, who does not identify himself (will understand), says that he decided to describe his dream of Apple's multi-touch computer as many of us have. "I'm just a little obsessed (with this idea)", he jokes.

Multi-touch Mac Slate

“It all started when I was in a biochemistry class and I realized how my current keyboard and mouse limited my ability to use my MacBook Pro during class,” he says. “To make a multi-touch computer really work, I need to completely abandon the current keyboard and mouse paradigm. So, during the year I developed a concept of functional interface and produced some videos and arts to demonstrate (my project). ”

I just loved it. I think, of course, that the hardware could evolve a lot in shape and dimensions, mainly, I found it very thick and I don't find the curves adopted by the designer interesting. In addition, some minor changes made to the Mac OS X interface did not please me, but nothing extraordinary.

And you, dear reader, what do you think about this project?
