Microsoft released today in the Play Store an update that allows you to exchange files between users, whether contacts are online or offline. The 5.2 update in addition to the news, includes bug fixes and general improvements.
One of the highlights that the company highlights with this update is the opening of chats faster, especially when opened through notifications. Call quality has generally been improved, with an emphasis on calls made through lower data qualities.
Gone are the days when you and your contacts need to be online at the same time for you to share photos using Skype. With this update, you can now send photos to your Skype contacts at a time convenient for you, regardless of online status. When they are back on Skype, the photos you have shared will appear on your line in the chat history, whether you are online or not – allowing you to easily carry on the conversation.
The update is now available to all users free of charge as of Android 4.1. Update right now via the button below.
