Skype also suffered from a message bug, but Microsoft was quick to fix

Like the bug in Unicode characters that recently plagued iOS users, the Skype he also faced a headache in the last 24 hours and in his case it was not even a special message, simply “http: //:” (without the quotes).

Users who received this message on Skype for Windows, iOS and Android (the Mac version was not affected, nor the Windows Phone version) were left with the application completely locked, and there was no point in cleaning the messages because the history was always downloaded from Microsoft servers when Skype open.

Fortunately, Microsoft ran and quickly fixed the bug by first filtering messages with "http: //" on Skype's servers, then releasing patches for the application itself. The iPhone version can be downloaded below, the Mac version here.
