The Google App is the Google search app available for Android and iPhone (iOS). The tool provides extra features that go beyond Internet searches. For example, you can follow the score of football matches, check the weather forecast on the home screen of your phone, receive updates on topics of interest to you and create reminders of important appointments. 1. scoreboard game
The tool allows you to create a scoreboard widget for your team, being useful for those who want to follow a match but cannot watch the match. To activate the function, simply search the search bar for the team name. Google then displays the team's information, including past matches and upcoming matches. Touch the match you want to follow and press Activate scoreboard on the left side of the screen. You can drag the widget wherever you want on your mobile screen.

2. Weather forecast on the home screen
The function consists of creating a weather forecast shortcut on the home screen of the cell phone for those who want to be aware of the weather. To add the tool, search the weather forecast search bar. Touch the icon on the left side of the screen and select "Add home screen". When you want to consult the weather forecast, just tap on the "Weather" icon.

3. Collections to save pages
Collections is a tool that allows you to save products, pages and images, while the user searches on Google. The elements can be separated into folders according to the theme, as the user wishes. Thus, the Google App allows you to organize searches to save content online and access it whenever you want.

4. Reminders to receive alerts
The tool allows the user to add reminders about important events and activities. Access the Reminders option in the Google App and press the plus symbol in the bottom right corner of the screen to add the alert information. You can enter the reminder title, date, time and place. Google will then send a notification to the cell phone at the scheduled time.

5. Interests to customize feed
The Discover section of the Google App selects content that it finds interesting for the user according to the mobile search experience. When following football teams, for example, the tool signals that this is a subject of interest to you and Google Discover suggests, on the app's homepage, news on the topic that it considers relevant to the user.

6. Customize Google bar
The Google search bar widget can be customized by the user as they wish. It is possible to control the color, shape and transparency of the widget displayed on the phone. To do this, add the Search widget on the mobile home page and access the "Personalize widget" option on the Google App. At the bottom, touch the icons to customize the Google color, shape, transparency and logo. Finally, touch "Done".
