Site “confirms” that WWDC will indeed mark the long-awaited arrival of new Macs Pro

We just said that Macs Pro stocks would be low at Apple Retail Stores, which opened the hope that the machines will finally be updated at this Worldwide Developers Conference 2012.

A few minutes ago, the 9to5Mac stated that this will indeed happen.

New Mac Pro

According to the vehicle, Apple will be preparing to finally update its professional tower Macs, after about two years without news. The new line will consist of three models – two of them (MD770LL / A and MD771LL / A) standard and one (MD772LL / A) customized for OS X Server.

In addition to all the obvious / conventional upgrades that are expected – new Intel Xeon E5 processors, graphics chipsets, RAM, storage, Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, etc. -, it is possible that this occasion marks the arrival of a new housing for these machines, possibly designed to cover the hole left after the discontinuation of the Xserves. This means that the new Macs Pro will be able to be more compact and with a format suitable for stacking in racks.

Apparently, Jim Dalrymple was right again.
