In the past, each click on the camera button was one exposure of the film less and, therefore, it was important to know how to take a photo well.
Nowadays, on the other hand, people can capture photos in series and record dozens or even hundreds of images in a few hours.
For those who have an iPhone with a lot of internal storage, perhaps the number of images is not an issue; however, those who have little space live choosing which photo to delete in order to take another one.
If you fit the last situation and do not want to spend hours selecting photos anymore, I present you the application BestPhotos.
More than an application that helps to delete similar or unnecessary photos, BestPhotos has some unique features that allow users to better organize their libraries easily and – mainly – quickly.
This week, the app received a major update and had its interface completely renewed, in addition to gaining a Night Mode and other news.
BestPhotos separates your photos into several categories and you can view your entire image collection or filter them by areas, such as images that do not have location data, photos in Portrait Mode that include a copy of the image you want to discard, copies of HDR images and videos – and these are just a few.
You can also access images based on the date they were taken and manage the albums that are created in the Photos app by third-party apps (these are, in my opinion, the worst).
In this update, BestPhotos gained support for Siri shortcuts, which allow you to quickly access a specific category of photos, as well as smart searches.
Similar to Tinder, you can slide your finger to the left to delete a photo or to the right if you want to favor it.
The app also offers the option of comparing two images side by side, in case you are in doubt about which one to discard – a feature that looks great in the iPad landscape mode.
Basically, the new features of this version of BestPhotos are:
- Delete and hide many photos at once;
- Quickly search for recent images, specific years or albums;
- Add photos or videos to new or existing collections;
- Find and delete duplicate photos automatically;
- Configure Siri Shortcuts to return to a date;
- View library statistics about your last 12 months in photos.
Some of these features, like the one that automatically finds and deletes photos, are only available to those who buy the in-app package that costs R $ 10.
If you don’t want to spend on Best Features, the app offers some features for free.
The news in version 2.0 of BestPhotos are now available on the App Store.
