1. Share posts in feed

One of the functions most requested by users of the application is Repost. Equivalent to Twitter and Facebook's retutting and sharing, Instagram does not have its own means for sharing posts from other users in the feed. The most similar option already in the app is repost nos stories.

There are several third party applications and programs created for this purpose. When you share posts in the feed with these tools, images are marked as "reposted" by a two arrow icon forming a circle. You can use repost apps on Android, such as InstaRepost and Regrann, or Repostly and Repost Quick for Instagram for iPhone.

2. Download Photos and Stories

Unlike most photo social networks, Instagram has no tools for downloading photos and stories from other users. When you post your own content, the app automatically stores the photo on your device, but saving third-party photos a bit more complicated. Then it is necessary to resort to programs to be able to perform the function.

For example, the extensive Chrome IG Story gives Google's browser the option to download Stories. You can also explore phone features such as screenshots to save photos from your feed or Instagram Stories.

3. View Stories Anonymously

Instagram Stories provides the user with a history of viewing Stories for up to 24 hours. The app does not allow you to watch Stories anonymously, but there are some options for browsing "ghostly". Applications designed for this purpose include Story Ghost, for iPhone, and Anonymous Stories Viewer for Instagram, for Android.

Instagram allows you to insert just one link in the bio into the "site" gap, but Linktree helps those who want to provide more than one address to profiles from other social networks, for example. The platform allows you to customize a web page with a list of URLs chosen by the user himself. Then just the user insert in the Instagram bio the link of your portal in Linktree for followers to access your other sites.

5. Insert line break

Customizing Instagram subtitles is no easy task, as the app doesn't let you insert line breaks organically. Therefore, users use various tools to bring the function to the social photo network. Texts written by mobile notepads keep formatting after being copied and pasted to Instagram, either in photo caption or post comment fields from other users. Apps like the SwiftKey Keyboard and Evernote can also be useful for customization.

Instagram web does not have some features of the mobile version of the social network. Photo publishing, the platform's most important feature, is missing in browsers. However, you can use shortcuts and tricks in the browser. One way is through a native Google Chrome feature that lets you simulate a mobile browser right on your desktop. The process occurs without the need to install programs or extensions on the PC.

7. View Instagram Direct from PC

Instagram does not allow its users to send and receive direct directly from the browser. Although the function exists in the mobile app, to access the web functionality it is necessary to bypass the network system using apps. The IG: dm app lets you send and receive direct messages from your PC, give you access to old conversations, start new chats and even discover accounts that don't follow your profile back.
