Sensational bundle offers Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac and six more apps for just $ 80!

THE sexta-feira Negra it happens, obviously, this Friday (28/11). But some promotions are already rolling around. One of them this beautiful bundle applications for OS X prepared by Parallels.

Parallels Bundle

Who migrate to Parallels Desktop 10 either by upgrading from a previous version (US $ 50) or purchasing the software for the first time (US $ 80) to earn the following OS X apps in the range: 1Password (password manager; usually sold for US $ 50), Camtasia (password recorder) screen and video editor; $ 100) CleanMyMac 2 (Mac cleaning; $ 40), Parallels Access (remote access via iGadget; $ 35), Acronis True Image (image backup; $ 50) and Gemini (find duplicate files; $ 10).

That is, by purchasing the new version of Parallels Desktop you get these six apps. Together, they would go for $ 365 at just 78% off!

Just for reference, I have 1Password and CleanMyMac 2 here on my Mac. Just for those two it would be worth buying Parallels, since you save $ 10 without mentioning, of course, that it would take other very useful apps!

The promotion will stay on the air until the end of this Friday (November 28), so don't miss it!

In a related note, the company is sending an alert to its users that Parallels Desktop 8 is not compatible with OS X Yosemite (10.10), stating that it is not possible to start the Windows virtual machine or use files directly through Parallels Desktop 8 on Ma's new desktop operating system. The solution for the case would be to migrate to Parallels Desktop 10, which is fully optimized and enhanced for Yosemite.

Some readers have informed us that, despite the warning, Parallels Desktop 8 works normally on Yosemite. We contacted the company and received the following response:

We issued a service bulletin to users of Parallels Desktop 8 as the engineering team alerted us that there were some problems when running version 8 on Yosemite, and as we no longer support it, we will not provide any updates. Issuing these alerts is a standard procedure when we have situations like this, as we will not want customers to be inadvertently in a position where their virtual machine does not work and they have to call support. We do our best to proactively alert our customers when there are possible problems with OS X updates to avoid the scenario described.

Regardless of whether or not Parallels Desktop 8 is running smoothly on your Mac, this is a great opportunity to upgrade!
