Selects Best iPhone Applications of the Year at WWDC 2019 | Apps

Apple unveiled on Tuesday (4) the list of the best iPhone and iPad (iOS) apps of the year during WWDC 2019, the company's developer conference in California until June 7. The award selects the apps that stand out in three areas: visual design, technology and innovation. Winners take home not just a trophy, but also an Apple product package, which includes devices like iPhone XS, Apple TV 4K and MacBook Pro. Apps will also be featured on the App Store, gaining more exposure.

Of the nine apps chosen this year, more than half are linked to the gaming industry. One of them is the Ordia, which explores an alien landscape with simple and innovative gameplay. Other areas covered by the award were creativity, with the Moleskine application for annotations and artwork; and medical assistance with Butterlfy iQ, an ultrasound app. See the full list below:
