Globoplay announced the productions that will be added to the streaming catalog starting this Thursday, July 2nd. Among the releases, there are three different projects with the duo Sandy and Junior, including the soap opera “Estrela-guia” and a documentary about the artists’ 30 years of career, recorded in 2019. The international series will also gain reinforcement with the arrival of “ Chuck «, the continuation of» Manifest «and six seasons of» Justified «.

Sandy and Junior fans will have plenty of content to watch starting this month. On the 10th, Globoplay launches the original documentary “Sandy & Junior: A História”, which tells, in seven episodes, the success story of the brothers with a vast musical archive. On the 17th, subscribers will be able to watch one of the tour shows that celebrated the duo’s three decades in 2019. The production was recorded at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, and also features images from other shows on the tour.

Sandy and Junior will also appear in the project that is taking classic soap operas from TV Globo to Globoplay. On the 6th, the streaming receives the soap opera “Estrela-guia”, originally launched in 2001 with Sandy in the role of the protagonist Cristal. Another emblematic novel that arrives in the catalog this month is “Vale Tudo”, from 1988, which has among its striking characters the villain Odete Roitman. The first chapters of all Globoplay soap operas are also released to non-subscribers.

Among the international series, the highlight is the second season of “Manifest – The Mystery of Flight 828”, exclusive to Globoplay. The continuation of the suspense brings some revelations about what happened on the mysterious plane. The “Justified” police series, on the other hand, arrives at the catalog with six full seasons on the story of police officer Raylan Givens, who returns to his hometown and faces problems with an old friend, his ex-wife and his elderly father.

The national and original comedy series “Each in its Square” arrives at Globoplay on the 3rd, with Paulo Vieira and Fernando Caruso leading the attraction. In eight episodes, they will be in their respective homes, talking with a lot of humor with several guests about the main themes involving quarantine, in addition to playing games and dynamics, always at a distance. Another option to laugh is “Diário de um Confinado”, by Bruno Mazzeo, which has six new episodes this month.
In the children’s segment, the highlight is the fifth season of the series “Escola de Gênios”, also original Globoplay. In the new wave of episodes, newcomer Isaac will make friends with geniuses from different areas and help his quadriplegic sister using robotics challenges.
