Friend’s Day is celebrated by Facebook on February 4, the anniversary date of the social network. To celebrate its 15th year on the air, Facebook released, as usual, a personalized video called «Together in friendship». It is worth remembering that Friend’s Day is officially celebrated in Brazil on July 20.

Available in the web version for PC and in the iOS app (iPhone and iPad) and Android, the video is created automatically with suggested scenes, but can be edited. The content includes a soundtrack, featured profiles and photos of friends. You can share the finished video or change each scene, thus adding special photos and friends that do not appear in the suggestions.

How to edit the friendship video by computer
Step 1. Access the Facebook Memories page (https://www.facebook.com/memories) to view your automatically created video. If you want to change the photos and friends that appear in the suggestion, click on «Edit»;

Step 2. Select an opening photo for your video. You can click on a suggested photo or click on the photo icon to search for more image options on your Facebook. To proceed, click on the next number of scenes in the video at the bottom of the screen;

Step 3. On the «Choose friends» screen, click on the pencil icon on a suggested friend’s avatar to see more options;

Step 4. Select one of your friends and click on the «Finish» button to have the person included in the video;

Step 5. When asked to choose photos of friends, click on one of the suggestions or, as in this example, on the photo icon to see more options;

Step 6. Select a friend’s profile photo and click the «Finish» button;

Step 7. Repeat the procedures on all the pages that represent the scenes of the videos to personalize all the content before sharing. To finish editing, click «Next»;

Step 8. Set your status update and click on the «Publish» button to add the video to your timeline.

How to edit the friendship video on mobile
Step 1. Access Facebook and click on the three bars icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then tap on «Memories»;

Step 2. Below the Friend’s Day video, click on the «Edit» option. On the next screen, choose a photo to open the video and slide the screen to see the next card to edit. Each of these cards will represent scenes from the video;

Step 3. When you are on the screens where your friends’ avatars appear, click on the pencil icon over your photos to see more options. Then, select one of the friends and tap «Finish»;

Step 4. When you get to the screen that leaves a friend’s photo highlighted in the video, tap on the photo icon and select another image on the next screen. To proceed, tap «Finish»;

Step 5. Repeat the changes on all cards as you see fit. At the end of the options, tap «Next», define your post and tap «Share».
