Seara.com was distinguished by the international Webby Awards. The award recognizes the company’s work on the Serralves Foundation website and is part of the category dedicated to cultural institutions.
The selection was made by a jury composed of names like David Bowie or Richard Branson, who selected sites of excellence from 10,000 applications from 60 countries, for recognition in 70 categories.
The Webby Awards are awarded by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and are in the 12th edition. The award received by Seara.com means that the company is part of the range of 15 percent of applications chosen by the competition jury. In the same category are projects such as Guggenheim Bilbao, Palazzo Grassi or Tate Tracks HD.
The 2008 edition of the Webbys remains on track and allows until the next day of May to choose projects pre-elected by the jury in the various categories to be competed.
