Satechi’s Stand Hub puts doors in front of your iMac [Pro] with style

THE Satechi remains one of the most inventive manufacturers of accessories for Macs, and its design team strives to create products that complement the look of Apple’s beautiful machines while expanding their utilities and making life easier for users. It couldn’t be different with its new product, the Type-C Aluminum Monitor Stand Hub for iMacs and iMacs Pro.

The accessory is, at first glance, just an aluminum stand where you rest your computer and lift it a few centimeters, making the viewing angle of the screen closer to the ideal for most tables. But it also has a series of doors on the front, which is a blessing for everyone who has used an iMac and knows the bummer of feeling around looking for the doors at the rear.

Here we have three USB-A 3.0 ports, one USB-C port, two memory card slots (SD and microSD) and one headphone jack. The connection is made using a single USB-C cable plugged into the back of the computer; for older iMacs, Satechi still includes in the box an adapter of this type of connector for the USB-A standard.

The hub is sold in two colors, silver or space gray, to match whatever your iMac model is – and bear in mind that while its design is designed especially for Apple’s all-in-one, you can use it it with any computer, as a common hub and support.

You can purchase the Stand Hub for $ 90 on the Satechi website.
