Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 appears in new leaked images

Samsung is preparing to launch its newest smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 3. The watch had already appeared in the FCC certification database in May and now new images of it have appeared on the website of the NRRA regulatory agency in South Korea.

The 41mm and 45mm versions have already been certified by NRRA and, like the original Galaxy Watch, both have a rotating crown. One difference is that the crown of the Galaxy Watch 3 is thinner than that of the original Galaxy Watch, which allowed Samsung to include a larger screen in the watch. The Galaxy Watch 3 also has two physical buttons on the side.

The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to be launched by Samsung with 1.2 and 1.4 screens protected with Gorilla Glass DX, and measures 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm and 41 x 42.5 x 11.3 mm, respectively. They will also have MIL-STD-810G certification and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

Samsung's new smartwatch should come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage capacity and with sensors such as heart rate monitor, blood pressure monitor and ECG. It should also come with features like an accelerometer, barometer and gyroscope.

The 41mm version of the Galaxy Watch 3 should come with a 247mAh battery, while the 45mm version should come with a 340mAh battery. The new smart watch will use the Tizen 5.5 operating system. Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the release date of the watch, but some sources say it will be presented in June, while others say it will be presented at the event to be held on August 5, the same where the Galaxy Note 20 line supposed to be introduced.
