Samsung Galaxy Buds +: TWS phone with 11h of autonomy and AKG-enhanced sound!

Today, during the event Galaxy Unpacked 2020, created to announce the top line of smartphones of the brand and its accessories, it was revealed, after several rumors, the new True Wireless headphones of the company, the Galaxy Buds Plus. The biggest highlight of the new TWS from the battery cell phone developer, capable of lasting up to 11h on a full charge and another 11h adding to the battery in the charging case.

The sound quality of Galaxy Buds + has been enhanced by AKG

The Galaxy Buds +, according to the announced during the Samsung event, had their sound quality improved by AKG and use 2 dynamic drivers to produce the sound (one for the bass and the other for the mid and treble).

It was also mentioned the implementation of an internal microphone and 2 more external ones to improve the quality of the connections and implement the feature called "ambient sound", so that it is possible to hear the sound around in busy environments in the city (probably avoiding accidents) they gave this name instead of saying that the phone has active noise cancellation (ANC or Active Noise Canceling). On its website there is the following description:

"Adjust how much of the outside world you leave to be aware and connected. Increase the volume of the ambient sound when you need to surround the environment without removing the headphones."

The shape of the True Wireless in-ear headphones has been changed slightly to provide greater comfort, it seems, in addition to the box with 3 sizes of eartips (tips or erasers) for a better fit, seal (read more about the importance of fitting for the sound quality here).

In terms of connectivity, according to Samsung, there was an improvement in pairing and switching between devices. It was also easier to perform commands by touching them, for example, accessing the music streaming service by long tapping one side of the TWS phone.

The new TWS headsets from Samsung have Bluetooth 5.0 and support for the Bluetooth audio codecs SBC, AAC and Scalable (company-owned codec).

The Galaxy Buds + battery can reach up to 11h of continuous playback!

Going to the batteries, each side of the Truly Wireless headset has a lithium-ion cell of 85mAh, providing 11 hours of continuous playback. Adding to the battery of the charging case (270mAh), added another 11h of playback to the Galaxy Buds +. This is a strong point, considering that the vast majority of TWS headphones on the market reach a maximum of 8 hours of continuous playback.

When charged for 3 minutes, Galaxy Buds + are capable of providing 1h of continuous playback.
