Safari Technology Preview 32 already supports WebRTC and WebAssembly, which will be on Safari 11.0 on iOS 11 and macOS 10.13

In case you don't remember, Apple has been offering a “Technology Preview” version of the Safari, which is nothing more than a beta channel on your browser.

This version is updated every two weeks, but it doesn't make sense to keep covering it here on the website. O Safari Technology Preview 32 released yesterday, however, significant.

In addition to bringing all the advances of the last betas of the browser, it already incorporates some of the main news that I will see in the Safari 11.0 iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra 10.13: WebRTC and Media Capture (as expected in more details in this blog post from WebKit for months), WebAssembly (binary format for executable codes on the web) and improvements in content blocking with automatic playback (auto-play).

WebRTC is already supported by Google, Mozilla and Opera, so it's great to see Apple joining in; is now out of the big ones, for now, only Microsoft. WebAssembly is already more embryonic, but it is being developed precisely by members of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and WebKit.

The Safari Technology Preview can be downloaded here and anyone who wants can check out more details about Safari 11.0 in this document from the Apple Developer portal.
