Rumor: Samsung quadruples its processor production for Apple

O Korea Times published a rumor this week that Samsung had signed a contract with Apple to quadruple the production of mobile processors during 2011.

This is estimated to be the equivalent of half the company's production capacity, which would put Apple products ahead of even the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy S in terms of consumption of Sammy components.

Rumors go beyond, citing plans to build a $ 3.6 billion processor factory in Austin, Texas, is this Apple's big investment?
