Peter Misek, an analyst at Jeffries, believes that the next generation of the iPhone will arrive in July 2013 with several new features beyond the different ones.
According to the analyst, the iPhone 5S will be available in different colors, such as iPods, come with a SuperHD screen and still support NFC technology. In addition, he also said that the battery of the new Apple smartphone will have more autonomy and that his camera will be better.
If you found some of these supposedly strange news, hold on to your chair: Misek says the Cupertino giant is testing several prototypes of the seventh generation iPhone, including one with a 4.8-inch screen.
Several prototypes of the iPhone 5S / 6 seem to be around. The model with a 4.8 ″ screen is the most interesting. It has a Retina + screen from IGZO, a new A7 processor quad-core and a new format without the button Home. Full gesture control is also possibly included.
Misek believes that Apple will announce the next generation of the iPhone in June 2013, breaking the trend of the past two years, in which the iPhones were announced in September / October.
The analyst also talked about the other Apple devices I saw in 2013:
- The fifth generation iPad will be launched in June, have an IGZO screen and be thinner / lighter.
- ITV already has some prototypes and should be launched between September and October 2013. Gesture and voice control combined with a new user interface are the main innovations, he said.
- A low-cost iPhone possibly arriving in 2013, costing between $ 200 and $ 250 and that without a contract with operators.
On a related note, the Taipei Times reported that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) will start producing the next generation of Apple processors in the second quarter of 2013, according to investment company Credit Suisse. This further reinforces the idea that the Cupertino giant will abandon Samsung for good.
